Hop-on and experience Dubai with dnata and City Sightseeing

dnata, with its partner, City Sightseeing Worldwide, has started operations of Dubai’s newest hop-on, hop-off city tour.

Mr. Jose’ Eugenio Salarich  Ambassador of Spain to the United Arab Emirates, representatives of DTCM, RTA, dnata, City Sightseeing WorldWide, and members of the travel trade officially launched the new tourism offering at an event last night.

dnata, the Middle East’s largest travel services provider, and City Sightseeing, the world’s leading open top bus tour operator, are set to showcase Dubai’s world-renowned skyline and landmarks like never before. With modern double-decker buses, and dozen language options, City Sightseeing will stop at 26 different locations around the city, allowing passengers to explore different areas of interest at their own pace.

“dnata has seen this city grow and become one of the world’s most popular destinations,” said Iain Andrew, DSVP, dnata Travel. “Many visitors come to Dubai wanting to take in all the city has to offer in a convenient and fun way, and City Sightseeing delivers. Each passenger will see Dubai’s sights from the most modern, comfortable double-decker buses available, offering the best perspective of the city.”

City Sightseeing’s two routes will cover every aspect of Dubai’s present and past. The Blue Route offers 12 stops, including Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, Jumeirah Mosque, and Jumeirah Beach Park, the Umm Suqeim Public Beach, and Madinat Jumeirah, taking guests onto the iconic Palm Jumeirah and ending at the Mall of the Emirates. Its Red Route has 16 stops, including the Gold and Spice Souks, Dubai Mall, Dhow Cruise, Bastakia, the Dubai Museum and finally, the Old Souk.

“We’re coming to Dubai with a fresh perspective and we can’t wait to bring our tours to this city and its visitors,” said Enrique Ybarra, President and CEO, City Sightseeing WorldWide. “There is no better way to experience a city than from the comfort and convenience of a City Sightseeing double-decker bus.
